In order for you to gain the most out of your membership, we think it is important for you to be involved in AACE. That is why we offer a variety of opportunities for members to get active in the Association – for collaboration, networking, and leadership experience.

Membership Advisory Committee (MAC)
The purpose of the Membership Advisory Committee (MAC) is to ensure that AACE International delivers value to members, maintains relevance in the industry, and promotes the growth of its global membership.
Rising Professionals Committee (RPC)
The purpose of the Rising Professionals Committee (RPC) is to create future leaders. The RPC aims to attract and retain early to mid-career professionals as members of AACE International by providing value and benefits to this membership segment.
Women in Project Controls Committee (WPC)
The purpose of the Women in Project Controls (WPC) Committee is to support women in cost engineering and project controls. The WPC raises awareness of AACE International to women in the industry and aims to increase their visibility in leadership roles.
Technical Subcommittees
The technical subcommittees are segmented into specific functional areas and provide an online network of members to discuss ideas and to help AACE build its vast body of knowledge. The Chairs and Co-Chairs of the technical subcommittees are approved by the Technical Board and they report directly to the Technical Subcommittee Division Director, who is a member of the Technical Board. There are no additional charges for your participation in AACE’s technical subcommittees.
Recommended Practices for Public Review
Periodically there are draft recommended practices available for public review and comment. This is a great opportunity to voice your opinion and provide feedback on upcoming industry practices.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
The SIGs are devoted to a specific industry area and provide an online network of members to discuss ideas and help AACE expand its body of knowledge. The Chairs of the SIGs are approved by the Technical Board and they report directly to the Special Interest Group Division Director, who is a member of the Technical Board. There are no additional charges for your participation in AACE’s SIGs.
Volunteer Opportunities
AACE offers its members a number of additional volunteer opportunities depending on your expertise and skills. Some volunteer opportunities are on the micro-volunteer level which require smaller amounts of time and effort while others are roles that required more from the member. You can help shape the profession through your involvement in AACE - and gain professional development and expertise as you grow with us.
