Under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Bakheet Al-Rashidi Minister of Oil & Chairman of The Board Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), AACE Kuwait Conference 2018 (Project Controls Best Practices to Manage Cost, Schedule, Risk & Change) was conducted on November 27-29. With more than 100 professional delegates from different countries and sectors, the Minister’s representative Mr. Waleed Al-Bader - Managing Director International Marketing at Kuwait Petrolatum Corporation opened the event. He started by a speech about projects control and the importance of AACE Kuwait Conference. Then the keynote speaker Mr. Brian Evans, DRMP EVP PSP - Vice President Certification Board of  AACE International talked about AACE International and its certification. In addition to Mr. Evans, there was an active presence and participation by AACE International Board members like Mr. Patrick Kelly, PE PSP Vice President-Finance, Mr. John Livengood, CCP CFCC PSP FAACE AACE President (2016-2017, and former Regional Director and current member of AACE International’s Marketing Board, Mr. Husain Al-Omani, CCP CEP DRMP EVP PSP. The speakers presented different topics about project controls, claims, delay analysis, and other subjects.

Several governmental and private sectors participated in the exhibition accompanying the conference like Civil Aviation, Kuwait General Administration of Customs, Palisade, and others.
